Password Spyer 2k - A Disaster Recovery Tool

        Simon used his favorite FTP client to update his website every two days. He pre-configured his FTP client to directly connect to his website for easy and quick access. His configured his FTP client to save his FTP password so there was no need to enter the password each time he was logging it.
This was ok until Simon bought a new machine and needed to configure his FTP client on the new machine. Everything went fine until he was asked for the FTP account password. Since Simon didn't type the password for a long time, he had forgotten it!

He quickly downloaded and installed the tool and in no time he got his password back. All he had to do was to move his mouse over the asterisks and his password was recovered.
Luckily for Simon he didn't have a computer crash and his password was still saved as asterisks in his old PC. What would he have done in case of a crash? The answer is nothing unless he has already downloaded the tool and recovered his password and saved it securely in case of any crashes.
Conclusion: If you have a saved and forgotten password, it would be better to recover it and back it up securely now before it is too late.
